We are committed to achieving the best possible results for your patients. Together we can bridge the gap between research and what is done in practice.

Give your patients best practice care.

Meaningful change through
best practice care.

A systematic approach.

Modern pain treatment requires a biopsychosocial approach that considers the various factors that contribute to and maintain pain. Our multidisciplinary approach includes physio, exercise physiology, CBT, and nutritional support. Treatment is lead by our physiotherapy team, who refer internally when additional care is required.

Treatment Strategies

Our team are experts in pain science, health behaviour change, graded exposure and exercise prescription for pain. Our pathway model of care helps with patients to make meaningful change, and leads to effective self-management.

By being systematic, we can rely on our protocols to achieve best practice for every patient – while personalising their healthcare pathway to make change that matters.

We work with Australia’s leading insurers including Medibank, BUPA, HCF, NIB, AFM Health Partners, and many more.

I recommend more patients to Dave’s clinic ... than I do to anyone else. This is because I think they are indeed filling an important, missing bit.

My session presented me with useful information and most importantly, hope! My coach listened to me and made connections to my problems so the advice became relevant. Looking forward to next week!

Questions? We’re here to help.

How should I write a Medicare referral?

The best way is to allocate sessions to physiotherapy. If we identify mental health factors that require psychology, then we will request an amendment. Please allocate a minimum of 3 visits for your patients.

Do you treat CRPS?

Our coaches are particularly skilled at treating neurological conditions. This includes referred pain, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), shingles pain, sciatic pain, and carpal tunnel pain. Treatment of these conditions requires specific knowledge, and our team are incredibly well placed to help.

Can you help my patients with fibromyalgia?

We have a special interest in treating fibromyalgia and many other chronic pain conditions. We are always excited to work with people who have limiting conditions because we see an incredible possibility for improvement, even in cases where a person feels like they are unable to move forward. We take your pain seriously, work to develop your understanding, and gradually test out different activities and strategies until we find a solution that will work for you.

Do you work with sporting injuries?

We are very interested in sporting injuries that do not respond to early, acute management. If your patient’s pain is continuing past expected tissue healing times then our team can support with differential diagnosis, education, activity scheduling.

Are you able to assess my patient’s objective signs?

Yes, our team complete a physical assessment via video link. If we are ever unsure then refer for further support, however, in the vast majority of cases we are able to develop a diagnosis remotely.

Will Medicare clients pay a gap?

We allow patients to choose from a gap free 20min consultation to a fee paid 45 min consultation. Our preference is for longer appointments, however, we understand the pressures of ongoing healthcare and provide this flexibility.

What if my patient is not tech-savvy?

A lot of our clients are not familiar with telehealth or video conferencing. We use a simple, secure platform called Cliniko that sends patients an email and txt link - they simply click on the link, and it joins them into a secure chat. We have found that people are very satisfied with this approach.
